Executive principal's welcome

Miss DavidsonAs the executive principal of Wainwright Primary Academy, I am extremely proud of the children and staff who work here. We have a strong sense of community and extremely high aspirations for every member of that learning community, from 3 years to 11 years and up. It is a privilege to work in such an exciting, progressive environment and see our children develop.

All of the staff at the academy are dedicated to their roles and love being a part of your children’s education. Every classroom is a vibrant learning environment that focuses on individual successes and team goals. We reward achievement and good behaviour every step of the way. Very good progress is made by pupils at the academy and every child has even greater access to educational opportunities than ever before.

Through this website, you will be able to see a great snapshot of what we get up to during an academy day; from exciting and challenging lessons and amazing trips, to stunning artwork and sporting successes. We will keep you up to date with the academy’s latest achievements and the activities that your children are involved in, so please visit regularly!

We want all of our academy community to feel involved in what we are doing and in their child’s learning. I am always available for parents and carers to talk to, should you have any questions or concerns.

We offer term-time tours for parents who may be considering applying for a place at Wainwright Primary Academy for thier son or daughter. If you wish to see the academy during a normal day, then we would love to meet you and show you around. Please contact our main office and they will make arrangements for you to come and tour the facilities and get the answers to your questions.

We look forward to hearing from you.
