I have a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Nottingham, and am currently teaching and researching at the Faculty of Engineering, University of Nottingham.

I have been working as a Chemical Engineer since my undergraduate engineering degree, before taking MSc Chemical Engineering from the University of Leeds in 2008. I have more than 10 years' of teaching experience from secondary, undergraduate and up to master’s level classes.

Moreover, I have been involved in multiples roles including research and development for multinational organisations such as JGC-Descon Engineering. I am a STEM Ambassador for Nottinghamshire schools, and at the same time I voluntarily support British Red Cross. I am also Associate Fellow of Higher Education Academy UK (HEA).

I would like to use my science, teaching and research experience to support the local community and make a difference at primary-level education.

I believe every child in our society deserves the guidance and skills to develop to their full potential and improve their life chances - which will positively impact on our community.

In my spare time, I enjoy travelling to natural places, walking, cycling and have a passion for reading the latest published research in scientific journals.
