World War II explored at Eden Camp

28th April 2017

Eden CampAs part of our topic on World War II, we recently took a group of pupils to Eden Camp in Malton, Yorkshire. This was a fantastic opportunity for our children to find out all about the war and to experience the sights, sounds and smells of life on the Home Front and the Front Line.

Eden Camp opened as a museum 30 years ago in 1987. Since then, it has grown into one of the largest and most comprehensive museums covering British military and social history from 1914 onwards.

The pupils all had a great day, trying on kit from the wartime era, exploring the exhibits and huts, and learning all about Britain at war.
