24th April 2017

Wainwright Primary logoWe would like to invite all parents to a coffee morning at the academy on Thursday 27th April 2017 to launch exciting FREE learning opportunities for the families of our pupils.

Working closely with the Community Learning and Skills Service (CLaSS), a wide range of family learning courses will be delivered free at Wainwright Primary over a number of weeks. The courses are designed for any adult wanting to help their child through their education, be it learning together or attaining the skills themselves to help their child at home, to just the simple act of coming in to the academy to support their child.

The coffee morning will run from 9am to 10am to enable you to find out more about the programmes from the providers, together with meeting other likeminded parents who wish to support their child’s learning.

Some of the courses included in the programme are:
- story bags/ sock puppets
- maths, English and ICT
- CV writing
- arts and crafts
- digital photography
