After more than three decades of dedicated service, Mrs Bennett has taken the decision to begin her early retirement from Wainwright Primary Academy.
Her journey with the school began over 33 years ago, first as a parent volunteer and member of the PTA, before becoming a valued teaching assistant 25 years ago.
Over time, Mrs Bennett’s role evolved into whole school SEND management and Safeguarding support, where she has made a lasting impact on both pupils and staff. She has also given around 20 years of service to the Governing Board in various roles, a position she will continue to hold in support of the school’s development.
Mrs Bennett has worked with generations of families, many of whom are now returning as parents themselves, bringing their own children through the doors of Wainwright. Her knowledge, kindness and commitment have helped shape the lives of so many within our school community.
We are incredibly proud of all that Mrs Bennett has achieved and deeply grateful for her tireless dedication and hard work over the years. She has been a much-loved part of the Wainwright family and will be greatly missed by colleagues, children and parents alike.
Though we are sad to see her step away from her day-to-day role, we are pleased she will remain involved through her work on the Governing Board. We wish her a well-deserved retirement, filled with time to enjoy her friends, family and all that brings her joy.
Mrs Bennett, thank you for everything you have done — and continue to do — for our school.
