It has been a month bursting with festive activities here at Wainright Primary Academy.
The month began with a school trip to see the pantomime at Mansfield palace theatre where we watched a performance of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. We all had a fantastic time and it was a great way to get into the festive spirit.
We also took a trip to the Four Seasons shopping centre to sing carols. It was lovely to see the children sing their hearts out and spread festive cheer to members of the public.
We also had our key stage 1 mixed up Christmas nativity performance. The children looked wonderful in their costumes and it was lovely too see them become the characters and let their imaginations run wild.
Each one of our Christmas activities have been thoroughly enjoyed by the children, but we especially enjoyed our Grinch day as the film is a favourite here at Wainwright.
