Today is #NationalNumeracyDay and our pupils from Foundation 2 have been celebrating by getting stuck into challenges set by their teachers. We decided to set a new challenge each hour and allow the children to upload photos/videos as evidence in return for Dojo points.
Challenges have included making a repeating pattern from cutlery, measuring how long you (or family members!) are in socks, ordering cupboard items by height and finding numbers outdoors in the environment – a really fun way of embedding key numeracy skills in a fun way!
