Our wonderful year 6 pupils had an amazing time at Hagg Farm on their residential trip this week. Following SATs the previous week it was a great opportunity to have fun, get some fresh air, do some really enjoyable activities, and celebrate together as a year group.
The trip allows our children to try new and exciting things such as rock hopping, outdoor climbing, zip wires and orienteering – these activities can represent a challenge, but in true Wainwright fashion, the children responded brilliantly and pushed themselves outside of their comfort zones to try their best and thoroughly got stuck in!
Miss Westmoreland and Miss Quinn said, “The children were exceptionally well behaved and represented the academy perfectly. We couldn’t be any prouder of our fabulous year 6s and hope that they all enjoy half term – you’ve earned it!”
Well done to all of our pupils and thank you to our hard-working members of staff who supported the children throughout the visit.
