I have worked in primary education my entire career. Having moved from working in schools to teacher training, I wanted to continue to use my knowledge and experience to support schools at a local level.
I heard about the role from a friend
The role allows me to both support and challenge the school’s leadership in the provision of the best possible educational experience for all children. Having sat in the headteacher’s chair for a decade, I understand how demanding it can be and seek to bring that knowledge and understanding to help the schools be the best they can be.
I enjoy and appreciate being part of a group with a wide variety of voices, experiences and skills. This always makes for better governance, interesting discussions and well-thought-out decisions.
